Employees and students can also use the commercial Sophos Home Premium at home free of charge. This protection is particularly useful in the home office, as it also provides some ransomware protection for the home.
Registration takes place on the Sophos website. A voucher code can be requested there using the university email address (@*.tu-freiberg.de). This address is used for verification purposes only. Later, the private email address can also be used to register for an account or to update the existing account. Afterwards, Sophos Home Premium can be downloaded and installed.
