The central login is required to use the university's central IT resources. A user account must exist in the IDM system.

You will receive the login data (user registration) when you enrol (students) or when you sign your employment contract (employees).

Guest accounts (user accounts for external users) can also be requested. The relevant forms can be found under further information.

Note: You must first activate the account and change the initial password. Only then will the login work.

Scope of services

  • First-level support at user level
  • Third-level support in the event of malfunctions
  • Operation of the central IDM system
  • Provision of the central URZ user account
  • Provision of the initial access data upon enrolment or contract signing (user registration document)
  • Provision of data for connected target systems

Provision of access data

  • . Contract signing (user registration document)
  • Provision of data for connected target systems

Provision of access data

  • Students receive their initial access data upon successful enrolment via the student office.
  • University employees receive the access data personally when signing the employment contract in the HR department.
  • Each person receives exactly one user account. This user account combines all contractual relationships with the university. If there are different relationships with the university (e.g. enrolment and employment contract), these are combined in one user account.

Expiry of the user account

  • The user account is deactivated when the enrolment, employment contract or guest account expires. The decisive factor here is always the latest expiry date of the individual contractual relationships.
  • A six-month inactivity phase follows, during which the user account can be reactivated by enrolment, a new employment contract or a guest account.
  • After the inactivity phase has expired, enrolment, a new employment contract or a guest account leads to a new user account.
