We use the HISinOne campus management system with the APP module to enable applicants to apply for and enrol on a degree programme at TU Bergakademie Freiberg. The introduction of the applicant portal made it possible to implement and digitalise applicant process requirements as individually as possible. Application and admission-related documents can be made available to university staff via the portal.

After applying via APP, applicants can view the status of their application or the documents generated as part of the application process. Furthermore, applicant data can be read, managed or changed by the applicant via APP.
Employees / decentralised decision-makers
The processing of the applicant portfolio, selection and admission are now also possible digitally via APP for the employees of the Admissions Office and the decentralised decision-makers. The decentralised decision-makers select applicants according to set criteria. In order for university staff to use APP, they must be logged into the campus network either on site or via VPN.
