Travelling to Freiberg from Dresden or Annaberg-Buchholz by bus 400.
Timetables:

Freiberg railway station is connected to regional and long-distance services (RB, RE) from Dresden and Chemnitz and from Holzhau. Trains run here every half hour or so.

From Rostock directly to Freiberg!

With the new ICE connection, you can reach Freiberg directly from Berlin BER Airport and Berlin Central Station! The long-distance connection Rostock/Warnemünde-Berlin-Dresden runs via Freiberg to Chemnitz.

The train station is located outside the city centre and there are connections to the university campus, for example with the regional bus lines B, 747 or 750. It is also possible to get there on foot or by bike due to the short distances between the train station and the campus.
