The URZ provides databases (DB) to institutes and other departments on a shared central MySQL server system and supports or advises on the use of MariaDB databases.
Customer benefits
The MariaDB database server has its own authentication and authorization system.
Data security is ensured in the long term through replication on secondary systems as well as daily backup of consistent database dumps.
