Once you have re-registered for the relevant semester, the new validity period can be printed. You will find the validation terminals in the waiting area on the ground floor of the main university building and in the new University Library, 1st floor, access to the cloakroom.

| Payment function in the Mensa | Cash registers in the dining halls, in the cafeteria and at some coffee machines in the New Mensa Student ID cards can access the new Autoload function. You can find more information about this on the FAQ page of the Student Union. The payment function can only be used for food and drinks in the New Canteen.

Access to the buildings and PC pools of your faculty is automatically activated. Special access rights must be requested at the control centre.

The copy, print and scan function is possible with your student ID card. The CopyCards from our libary no longer exists. More informations here

| completion of studies | Upon completion of the studies, you can have the existing credit of the student wallet paid out in the Mensa, at the cash desk in the cafeteria.
The student id card shall be returned to the student office. |
If the chip for the payment function or for access to the buildings is defective, it is possible to apply for a free replacement card at the admissions office after confirmation of the defect by the relevant offices (confirmation by the canteen for the wallet; confirmation by the control centre of the University Computer Centre for access to buildings).
If your student ID card is lost or destroyed, you can apply for a new card at the admission office, main university building, Akademiestraße 6, room EG.12. The cost for this is 16.00 euros.
