The group and authorization system has also been intensively put through its paces by test users (editors from various departments) since week34. The errors that occurred and other tips are regularly documented and passed on to the service provider for testing and implementation.

We are working flat out to be able to start onboarding the faculties, institutes and facilities in October.

Step 1: Inform

Services of the web team:

  • Creating the area in the central WebCMS as a raw container

This is NOT possible:

  • editorial maintenance of web pages
  • graphics creation
  • consulting for other systems

Your contribution:

  • participation in Drupal training
  • compliance with legal requirements as well as corporate design

.

Step 2: Submit application

Application Form

You will receive an automated confirmation email after submitting the request. All incoming requests will be processed in order by the web team. We will get back to you when your request is processed. Based on the form information, we will set up the new area in the central WebCMS. Please understand that this cannot happen in real time and will sometimes take a few days.

Step 3: Drupal access and training

Even if you already have experience with Drupal or comparable web systems, we ask that you attend a training session.

.

Step 4: Design and launch

Here's a little checklist:

  • Read specifications and guidelines
    • Web accessibility
    • Privacy
    • Copyright
  • Figure out structure
    • Consider specifications for navigation structure
  • First then create content
    • Need and goals of a website
