The Virtual Server Hosting (VSH) service is aimed in particular at university institutions that want to use servers for certain services. Compared to operating real servers, using your own Virtual Sserver (VS) has a number of fundamental advantages.
Customer benefits
Each HA cluster consists of several physical high-performance servers on which several virtual servers run. The resources of a virtual server (CPU, RAM, disks, SW, ...) are made available exclusively to the client.
If a physical server fails, the affected virtual servers are automatically migrated to other physical servers in the HA cluster. The client's virtual servers are operated with the aim of 24/7 continuous operation.
