Students have rated TU Bergakademie Freiberg as the best small university in Germany. By taking first place in the ranking of the most popular universities with fewer than 5,000 students, they secured the “StudyCheck Award 2026” for the university in Freiberg. This top ranking is based on an analysis by the comparison portal “StudyCheck” and thus on the students’ own reviews. The result reflects the innovative teaching, personalised support and practical relevance of the STEM degree programmes at TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
