The Welcome Point of the International Office, located in Akademiestraße 6, room EG.20, is a useful first point of contact for new international students.
Here you will find answers to your questions about the necessary steps to take after arrival (registration, enrolment in the city of Freiberg and at the university).
In addition, orientation events are held at the beginning of each semester.
Enrolment
The Admissions Office is responsible for enrolment. You will be informed about how to enrol at TUBAF through the applicant portal once the application process has been completed and you have been admitted for studies at TUBAF.
To enrol, you must provide information via the university portal and upload written proof. For proof of health insurance, please refer to the information on the website Health Insurance.
With the enrolment you will get access to TUBAF's IT services, including the teaching and learning platform OPAL.
You will receive your student ID card at the Admissions Office, Akademiestraße 6, rooms EG.12 and EG.13 (corridor in the picture).
