OPAL is a Saxony-wide online platform for academic teaching and learning.
In addition to the protected provision of teaching/learning materials, the OPAL learning management system with its numerous modules offers many possibilities to support both the organisation of studies and interactive, collaborative work. The provision of assignments, tests, video content and virtual interaction rooms is also possible.
Customer benefits
Support for lecturers
The use of OPAL facilitates the daily work of lecturers in many ways and supports them in:
- organising enrolments,
- organising consultation hours and examinations or
- developing and conducting online tests, surveys and teaching evaluations.
In addition, there are further options such as the protected integration of
- cross-person task pools,
- lecture recordings, podcasts,
