KSH provides various IT services in the context of resource management for the 13 universities in the Saxon ERP network. KSH's services are not limited to traditional enterprise resource planning (ERP), but also take complementary systems into account. KSH supports the central, shared tasks and components of the ERP solutions, particularly in the areas of Individualisation (customising) Development (including test management), user support (support) including troubleshooting, error correction and change management (incident, problem and change management) as well as tasks relating to consulting, training, documentation and maintenance (service). The ERP Competence Centre of Saxon Universities (KSH) is responsible in accordance with § 92 paragraph 1 in conjunction with paragraph 2 Sächsischer Hochschulen. In conjunction with paragraph 2 SächsHSFG, the ERP Competence Centre of Saxon Universities (KSH) has been established as a joint central institution of the participating Saxon universities and is assigned to the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. The Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism represents the Free State of Saxony as a participating partner. The KSH is staffed and managed by a management team with elected representatives from each type of university and the Saxon State Ministry of Science, Culture and Tourism. In addition, matters relating to the KSH are discussed in the joint general assembly. Each co-operation partner is represented in this assembly with voting rights.
