There are many ways to get to know TUBAF:
- Experience everyday university life,
- get to know degree programmes,
- visit research facilities ranging from laboratories to large-scale research facilities,
- complete an internship at the university,
- participate in Campus Day,
- visit Girl's Day,
- explore the campus together with a school class or
- make an appointment at the Central Student Advisory Service.
Even though it's a small university, that's its greatest strength. For one thing, everything is close by. Freiberg isn't big, and you can get anywhere on foot within 15 minutes at most. You're not just another number in the system; the lecturers know you, and there's still a real sense of community here. We also have our own mine, and who else can say that?

Central Student Counselling Service
Counselling on studying
The Central Student Advisory Service is the point of contact for prospective students regarding any concerns and questions about their studies in personal counselling sessions, by telephone or by email. International students can contact the International University Center with any questions or concerns.
