The university campus is network topologically divided into several distribution areas, which logically combine coherent parts of the campus. Each distribution area is redundantly connected via optical fibers to the two core routers, which are geo-redundantly located on the campus. Based on this network, the concrete data endpoints on the campus are connected (workstations, telephones, access points and much more).

Customer benefits

  • Uninterruptible connection to the campus network in case of loss of a fiber (construction work, hardware failure)
  • Fast data exchange within the campus network and to the Internet
