Since 22 February 2024, the GWDG has been offering its own Chatbot (ChatAI), which TU members can also use.
It is a service of the Academic Cloud and is a free alternative to ChatGPT & Co. Every member of the participating institutions can use the Academic Cloud services. A major advantage of ChatAI compared to commercial providers is that no data is stored at the GWDG or elsewhere or used for training purposes, for example. All open source models are hosted directly by the GWDG.
The chatbot can be used to write texts, answer questions and solve tasks. ChatAI provides several models. This allows you to choose the best model for your application. It is also possible to request an API key via the booking form.
