Would you like to study, but don't yet know which subject is right for you? Would you like to get to know the university and the study options better? Then come to our Campus Day on 30 May 2026. From 10:00 to 15:00, you can expect a wide range of offers.
Our event will take place in the University Library/Lecture Hall Centre, Winklerstraße 3.
Welcome to Campus Day
Experience the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg up close and discover the opportunities offered by studying with us.
Find out about our degree programmes at the information fair (foyer of the university library/lecture hall centre) and at the course presentations (lecture halls A & B, university library/lecture hall centre).
Talk to students and lecturers and take a look at our laboratories and collections (various buildings on campus).
Campus Day offers exciting insights into research and teaching - and the chance to shape your future.

You will find the general information stands in the foyer of the University Library/Lecture Hall Centre and in the seminar rooms.
Lectures on “Everything to do with Studying”
The lectures in this series will take place in the Agricola Hall (ground floor of the university library).
Lectures on the topics of “Housing and Financing,” “Foundations and Scholarships,” an “Overview of TUBAF,” and a question-and-answer session for parents are currently being planned.
Personal Academic Advising
Would you like to receive advice on studying at TUBAF in a quiet atmosphere?
Registration is possible from May onwards.

Our degree programme presentations are designed to give you an overview of the degree programmes offered by our faculties. You can ask questions directly afterwards. You can also come to our information stands in the foyer at any time with your questions and ask for advice.
The programme presentations mainly focus on the undergraduate degree programmes (i.e. Bachelor's and Diplom). We offer advanced Master's programmes to match our Bachelor's programmes. You can find a list of all Master's degree programmes at TUBAF here.

Tours of the campus
Meeting point for all tours: In front of the university library (exit next to the café).

Arrival
Travelling by train
Freiberg station is well connected to regional and long-distance trains, especially from Dresden and Chemnitz.
Trains run every half hour or so. From the train station, you can easily reach the campus on foot or by taking bus line C, station Winklerstraße.
Journey by car
Freiberg can be reached via the A4 motorway or the B 173.
There are several car parks in the immediate vicinity. For example, at the Audimax, Winklerstraße 24 (free of charge), or in the city centre (Untermarkt, Schlossplatz, Tivoli multi-storey car park).
