New degree programme
Space Resources - Space Technologies, B.Sc.
The new degree programme "Space Resources - Space Technologies" offers future-oriented students the opportunity to deal with the challenges and opportunities of using extraterrestrial resources. The degree programme imparts knowledge of the extreme conditions on other celestial bodies and strategies for using naturally occurring resources there to build and operate stations (habitats) that enable people and machines to live and work on site.

STEM degree programme with teacher training option
After successfully completing a STEM degree programme, graduates usually go into business, companies, research or do a doctorate. Those who wish to enter the teaching profession can also achieve this with a STEM degree programme at TUBAF. Two STEM Bachelor's degree programmes, Applied Natural Sciences, B. Sc. and Applied Computer Science, B. Sc., have been optimised to enable lateral entry into the teaching profession at secondary schools in Saxony for the subject combination of physics/chemistry and mathematics/computer science after successfully completing a Master's degree.
