Every telephone that is assigned to an employee is authorized by default to make internal calls as well as calls to the German landline and mobile network.

The TU Bergakademie Freiberg does not have a telephony flat rate.

For cost reasons, connections to special numbers (0180, 0900, 0137 call numbers) are blocked by default. Also blocked by default are calls to foreign countries.

If you want to make calls to the above prefixes or abroad, you must apply for this.

The request must contain the following information:

  • Your name
  • The phone number for which the activation should take place
  • Statement for which area the activation should take place (e.g. 0180 numbers, 0900 numbers, 0137 numbers, foreign countries [indication of the countries to which calls are expected])
  • Business purpose of the calls (e.g..international project, communication with suppliers abroad,...)
  • Statement of the expected monthly volume of calls to the above-mentioned areas (average number of calls and length per call)

The application must be signed by the head of your structural unit and sent by internal mail or scanned electronically (by mail to servicedesk [at] tu-freiberg [dot] de (servicedesk[at]tu-freiberg[dot]de)) to the URZ. It is also possible to send the documents digitally using an electronic signature.
