Thermoshaker

Thermoshakers are multifunctional laboratory devices that enable the heating, cooling and simultaneous mixing of samples. They are primarily used in molecular biology and biochemistry applications, where precise temperature control and constant mixing are crucial for the reproducibility and quality of the results. By combining several functions in one device, thermoshakers not only save space, but also increase efficiency in everyday laboratory work.

The Biometra TSC thermoshaker from AnalytikJena combines the functions of a thermomixer, mixer and incubator in a single, compact and quiet-running device. It offers comprehensive flexibility with a temperature range of -15 °C to 100 °C, enabling both cooling and precise heating of samples. The cooling is based on modern Peltier technology, which enables energy-efficient and reliable temperature control.

A particular advantage of the device is its modular design: Five easily interchangeable block modules are available for different sample types, including 0.2 ml, 0.5 ml, 1.5 ml and 2.0 ml tubes as well as 96-well microtitre plates (PCR plates). This allows a wide range of applications in a wide variety of experimental setups.

The shaking function is performed with a 2 mm mixing orbit, which enables a range from gentle to vigorous shaking of the samples. The variable mixing frequency can be set in the range from 250 rpm to 1,400 rpm and thus ensures optimum mixing depending on the sample requirements. During operation, both the set and actual values are displayed simultaneously, allowing convenient control and monitoring of the parameters in real time.

Overall, the Biometra TSC thermoshaker is a powerful and versatile solution for modern laboratory applications where precision, flexibility and ease of use are paramount.

If you need to use the thermoshaker, please contact the person responsible for the device.
