AI-based Data Fusion for Physiological Multisensor Technology on Wearables

The aim of the project is to develop an innovative medical wearable. For this purpose, established sensors, such as those for measuring heart rate, are combined with electrochemical aptasensors. This makes it possible to record biomarkers that would otherwise require laboratory testing. The integration of artificial intelligence and advanced data analysis technologies should make it possible to identify health patterns at an early stage. By combining the selected sensors with machine learning algorithms, the sensitivity and specificity of point-of-care diagnostics should be improved. Within this project, a demonstrator will be developed that includes both the production and adaptation of the sensors as well as the development, implementation and validation of machine learning models.
