A large number of fee-based databases are licensed via the University Library. These can only be accessed from the campus network, via Shibboleth or via VPN, and a few can also be accessed from outside the campus network after registering with the TU Bergakademie e-mail address.
In addition to free academic search platforms such as Google Scholar and Bielefeld Academic Search Engine (Base), various fee-based databases are licensed and made available via the University Library.
