On the occasion of the Indo-German consultations of the German government in October 2024, Deutsche Welle, Germany's international broadcaster, made a film portrait of Jacob, an Indian Master's student at TUBAF. 

He is studying Mechanical and Process Engineering. During the filming at the beginning of October 2024, Jacob supported international first-year students for the winter semester 2024/2025. He talks about the good study conditions and the reasons why he chose Freiberg as a place to study.
