English

After two semesters of specialised language training, a certificate with a grade is obtained after successfully passing the written exam. This is sent directly from the IUZ/Languages to the D2/Student Office and is deposited in the student file or can be collected there.

A certificate is issued for participation in the required number of courses and passed examinations (UNIcert® Basis, UNIcert® I or UNIcert®III). This is sent directly from the IUZ/Languages to the D2/Student Office and stored in the student file or can be collected there.

Students who have not taken a language test as part of their student education, but require proof of language proficiency for a period of study abroad, an internship abroad or to obtain a DAAD travel grant or other scholarships, have the option of taking a language test. This requires prior agreement in good time with a teacher. As a rule, proof must be provided of knowledge and skills in speaking/listening, reading and writing.

Please contact Mrs Karin Lötzsch (Tel 2602) to arrange an appointment for an English language test.

To create a Transcript of Records in English, you will need the official translations of the module names.

You can find all module names in German and English in the university's internal module database. Access to the module database is restricted to internet-enabled devices in the campus data network, i.e. you may need VPN access from TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
