Research data management in doctoral thesis
From planning to publication
The Freiberg University Library, in collaboration with the Graduate and Research Academy (GraFa), will be offering an RDM course for PhD students starting in the summer semester of 2026.
The course is primarily aimed at PhD students from all disciplines who wish to systematically expand their skills in research data management (RDM). Master's students are also welcome to attend if there are places available.
The RDM course provides fundamental and practice-oriented skills in RDM. Participants will gain a systematic overview of concepts, methods, and tools that will support them in planning, organizing, securing, documenting, archiving, and publishing their research data.
Upon successful completion of all course components, participants will receive a total of 0.75 ECTS. Participation will be confirmed by a certificate from the Graduate and Research Academy (GraFa).
