ORCID - Strengthening visibility and networking in science

The Vice-Rectorate Research together with the University Library cordially invites all scientists of TU Bergakademie Freiberg to an information event on ORCID.
When: 7 May 2025, 13:00 - 13:45
Where: Seminar room 1 (UBH 0.211 | ground floor) and online via BigBlueButton
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is an international identifier for researchers with which scientific publications can be clearly assigned to a person. It supports visibility, facilitates the traceability of scientific achievements and is increasingly a prerequisite for funding applications, publishing processes and research documentation.
The Rectorate of TU Bergakademie Freiberg strongly recommends that all researchers create an ORCID iD and actively maintain their profile in order to optimise the visibility of their own research work and link it to other systems.
