Equipment certification: 3D printer (BambuLab Carbon X1)

Do you have an idea for a VR application for research – but aren’t sure how to use the equipment safely and independently? With our equipment licence, you’ll be up and running in just one hour.

You’ll learn the key safety rules and responsibilities, receive a brief introduction to the technology, and find out how the booking system and rules of use work. You’ll have the chance to try out the VR headsets for yourself during a short hands-on session on site.

Once you’ve successfully completed the session, you’ll be added to our authorised users list and will be able to use the station independently straight away.
