From the winter semester 2024/25, the VR/AR teaching and learning rooms in the library can be used and VR/AR technology can be borrowed.
The prerequisite for this is participation in a workshop, which is offered regularly.

The Mixed Reality Space and the ScienceLab provide a low-threshold opportunity to familiarise yourself with the technology and the possibilities for your own teaching, studies or research.
If you are authorised, the rooms can be reserved via the library's room booking portal.
VR glasses and tablets can be borrowed for use in the library for one day. Please register in advance via e-mail: mixedreality [at] ub [dot] tu-freiberg [dot] de (mixedreality[at]ub[dot]tu-freiberg[dot]de)

Rooms and technology are available for individual use as well as in a seminar context.
