Since January 2026, Freiberg University Library has been offering campus-wide access to the specialised business database Business Source Ultimate.
This database replaces the previously licensed Business Source Complete and offers a significantly larger scope of information.
With Business Source Ultimate you get access to a comprehensive collection of scientific information, including:

- Country and economic reports

- SWOT-analyses
- current market analyses
The database is ideal for students, researchers and teachers of economics - whether for seminar papers, theses or scientific research.

In addition, the database provider EBSCO offers free online training courses for students. In these training courses, you will learn how to use the database efficiently and optimise your search results in a targeted manner.
