The event management department at the university plans, organises and carries out central academic and social events as well as major public events.
Department 5 advises structural units on preparing their own events and offers various services, such as equipment hire.
Organisation of an event
There are various aspects to the organisation of a conference, symposium or other event. We are happy to advise you on:
- the appointment of a caterer
- the selection of suitable premises
- the artistic design
- the provision of conference materials
- the announcement of the event
- the hotel reservation and accommodation

Equipment for TUBAF events (on loan)
An event is always a public event! That is why it is important to have a uniform appearance with equipment branded in the TUBAF design and event documents.
Items for equipping an event at the university can be borrowed internally from the secretariat of the Department of University Communication. These include
- Poster walls measuring 1.20 x 1.50
- Displays for indoor and outdoor use
- Tablecloths and covers for bar tables
- Pavilions (branded and unbranded)
- Conference signs etc.
