- The TU Bergakademie Freiberg is a corporation under public law, for whose civil servants and tariff employees the scope and reimbursement of expenses for business trips are governed by the Saxon Travel Expenses Act - SächsRKG and the associated administrative regulation - VwV-SächsRKG.
- Trainees' travel expenses are reimbursed in accordance with Section 10 TVA-L BBiG.

Germany ticket as a job ticket
- The SMF has concluded a corresponding framework agreement with three providers: Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe AG (DVB), Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe GmbH (VVO), Verkehrsverbund Mittelsachsen (VMS) and Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund (MDV), each represented by DB Regio AG and Länderbahn GmbH DLB.
- All three providers offer the ticket on an equal footing; the only difference is the respective distribution channel. The Deutschland-Ticket as a job ticket can be purchased by all employees from the respective networks. Staff can decide for themselves with which transport company they conclude their subscription contract.
- All tickets are sold exclusively as mobile phone tickets.
