There are several multifunctional devices available for printing, copying and scanning. On this page you will find instructions for setting up the functions and information on pricing.
CopyCards
The university ID card or the library guest card serves as a copy card. A separate CopyCard no longer exists.
Old CopyCards can be returned on Fritzsche & Steinbach service days. The dates can be found on our website under "Upcoming events", as well as on the information displays or at the circulation and information desk.

There are several public multifunctional devices available for printing, copying and scanning. Once the initial set-up has been completed, the paid service can be used during the library's opening hours.
There is a charge for printing, copying and scanning on the public multifunction devices. Book scanners are available for free use in all three reading rooms.
Yes, provided the storage medium used is formatted with the FAT32 file system, it can be connected directly to the multifunction device. You can also print from the Internet workstations.
Documents can be scanned free of charge or for a fee onto a USB stick/storage medium and by e-mail.
Yes, if you are a member of TUBAF, documents can be uploaded online via the PaperCut portal. This function is not available to guests of the University Library.
A PayPal account is required to top up print credits.
TUBAF members can top up credit directly onto the TUBAF card via the PaperCut-Portal (within the university or via VPN).
Guests of the University Library can only add credit to their library card on site in the library via the PaperCut portal.
