The University’s Central Events Management team plans, organises and runs key academic and social events, as well as large-scale public events.

Department 5 advises organisational units on the preparation of their own events and offers various services, such as the hire of equipment.

Promoting an event

The University’s online events calendar

The events calendar provides a central overview of all university events.

  • Add an event: University members can publish their own events here, provided they are organised by the university or in which the university is involved.
  • Important: Only events directly related to the university will be included.
  • Any questions? Please contact the Events and Programme Organisation team.
Posters, leaflets & notices in buildings
  • Posters: Members of the university community may display posters on the designated noticeboards, display cases and notice areas within the buildings.
  • Leaflets: May be distributed in the stands or display racks provided for this purpose.
  • Important: Content must not be discriminatory or contradict the university’s values.
Advertising on the information screens

Faculties, institutes, organisations, student initiatives and students have the opportunity to publicise their events on the campus monitors. The screens are located in the various teaching buildings across the campus, in the new university library and in the university’s main building.

  • Format: 16:9 (1920x1080 px), ready for layout
  • Submission: Via the Media Centre’s online form
