We present our current projects:

Back pain and musculoskeletal disorders in the back area are among the most common causes of incapacity for work and severe disability in Germany and worldwide. Exoskeletons are a valuable aid in reducing the mechanical strain on the back during industrial activities.

In the ZIM-funded ExoShirt project (https://www.iws-nord.de/news/exoshirt), we want to develop a textile, active and switchable exoskeleton with integrated innovative actuators with variable stiffness. We are working on the project together with our industrial partner AUTOFLUG GmbH.
