20th Zsigmondy Colloquium 2025, 16.-18. September, Freiberg, Saxony

The 20th Zsigmondy Colloquium “Engineering of bio-based and artificial colloids and interfaces“ of the German Colloid Society will take place in Freiberg at the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg.

The Zsigmondy colloquium aims at younger researchers at the pre- and post-doc levels in the field of colloid, surface and interface science. Our goal is to foster communication between researchers from universities and other research institutions and industry.

Event time

The conference will start around noon on the 16th and end around noon on the 18th of September 2025.

Confirmation of Abstracts: July 1st
Registration closes August 3rd (Registration will be open by Mid-February)

Registration fee:

PostDoc/Professor/other participants: 200 € (regular fee)
Student/PhD Student: 150.00 € (reduced fee, proof of student status needed)

Cancellation is possible with full refunds until closing of registration. After closing, no refund is possible. Please get in touch with conference chairs.

The registration fee includes coffee breaks and one slight meal during e.g. poster session. It also covers the cost of the conference dinner taking place in the evening of the 17th of September (https://schankhaus1863.de/). Information on the payment method and deadlines will follow shortly.
