Joint colloquium with AKITA University during the 76th BHT

Join Us for the 2025 Specialist Colloquium: "Innovative Approaches in Materials and Energy Sciences"

We are excited to invite you to a special event marking the partnership between TU Bergakademie Freiberg and AKITA University, Japan. The first-ever joint specialist colloquium will take place on June 4, 2025, in the Senate Hall of TU Bergakademie Freiberg.

The close collaboration of Freiberg with Japan goes back more than 150 yours initiated by Freiberg professor Curt Adolph Netto. The event will be part of the BHT - FREIBERGER UNIVERSITÄTSFORUM 2025 and offers a unique platform for advancing scientific exchange and strengthening institutional ties.

Featured Topics:

  • Hydrogen production
  • Electrochemical processes
  • Machine learning applications
  • Corrosion monitoring
  • Thin-film technologies
  • Characterisation of ferroelectric materials

Lectures from scientists of both universities will explore these cutting-edge topics from diverse perspectives. This event is an excellent opportunity to network, share knowledge, and initiate new collaboration projects.

Don’t miss this chance to be part of a groundbreaking scientific dialogue at the highest level!

Save the Date: June 4, 2025
