Today we can announce a new team member at our chair! Chen Chen will join the chair as part of the research group "Human-Machine Systems". In his future work, he will focus on researching the adaptation and improvement of the control and regulation of human-machine systems (e.g. exoskeletons) and the use of AI in this context.
After completing his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master's degree in Mechatronics at Chemnitz University of Technology, Chen worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Adaptronics and Lightweight Construction (in Production). His research focussed on sensor integration and the development of intelligent embedded systems. Here, he was involved in projects to develop sensor-integrated machine elements for data acquisition and processing for various process-relevant measurement tasks.
We are delighted to welcome Chen and wish him a great time at our chair!
