1st place in the Poster Competition!

A great success for our SAMSax team at the 25th International Conference & Exhibition (9-13 June 2025, Zaragoza, Spain):

Our poster entitled "Additive Manufacturing with Residues: Binder Jetting Applications in the SAMSax Living Lab" was awarded first prize!

Dr Neel Kamal Gupta presented the poster on site and impressed the audience with the innovative approaches of our project.

What the poster was about

The poster shows how various organic and industrial waste materials can be processed into functional components using the binder jetting process. In addition to initial results from the SAMSax real laboratory, our new binder jetting system is also presented. In contrast to conventional manufacturing processes, additive manufacturing produces significantly less material waste. By using residual materials as a starting material, we are also sending a strong signal for sustainable production.

We are delighted to receive this award and are looking forward to the next steps in our simul+ SAMSax real laboratory!
