Erasmus+ partner country Israel
The TU Bergakademie's academic collaboration with Israel's oldest universities, the Hebrew University Jerusalem (HUJI), Israel Institute of Technology (Technion) and Tel Aviv University, is to be continued as part of the Erasmus+ project.
As envisaged in the TU Bergakademie's internationalisation strategy, these are collaborations with partners "with whom the best scientific results can be achieved". Technion, HUJI and TAU are partners with excellent research activities that complement TU Bergakademie perfectly due to their areas of specialisation - metal and plastic as starting materials for additive manufacturing. By offering doctoral students the opportunity to spend time in Israel, the project supports the university's strategic goal of promoting international mobility for young researchers.
The planned mobilities will lead to stronger networking between all four partners. The mobilities will establish connections that can lead to further projects and thus make an intensive contribution to strengthening German-Israeli cooperation.
