The aim of the project is to develop a functional prototype that is able to condense water from the air using vortex cooling

Research focus
  • Development of an efficient vortex cooler for fast and energy-efficient cooling of air.
  • Design of an optimised condenser that enables maximum water yield under given climatic conditions (temperature, humidity, pressure).
  • Determination of the optimum condensation scheme to maximise water recovery.
