New topics, fresh ideas and committed participants. Three days of professional collaboration and insightful dialogue took place at the Chair of Production Systems at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Researchers from various locations were able to talk to each other and take away valuable ideas for their work. Prof Robert Weidner and Dr Dennis Bäcker from our chair took part.

The focus was on two forward-looking topics: the application of foundation models in research and the development of joint teaching concepts for artificial intelligence in production. The rooms of the ZESS - Centre for the Engineering of Smart Product-Service Systems were available for creative collaboration and stimulating discussions.
