On 4 December 2025, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Henning Zeidler and Dipl.-Ing. Leif Bretschneider were guests at our project partner, Städtische Theater Chemnitz gGmbH, and took part in a user workshop. Around 25 theatre professionals and scientists came together for an intensive professional exchange to discuss the potential and challenges of paste extrusion of wood chips for the production of theatre backdrops.

After a keynote speech by our project partner Norbert Richter, who presented the current status of the joint research project, the workshop offered plenty of space for in-depth discussions and a live demonstration of the printing process.

We are delighted with the many stimulating discussions and the valuable input that we will incorporate into our further project work.
