• Course start: in the winter semester

• Scope: 2 SWS course, 2 SWS self-study per semester
• Prerequisites: none
• Costs: Participation in the course is free of charge for students and doctoral candidates enrolled at TUBAF and for employees. For guest listeners, a course fee of €30 per semester is charged.

• Course content: The course introduces basic vocabulary and teaches basic grammatical structures. The participant understands statements on personally relevant topics as well as basic statements in simple messages. They will master short, simple everyday communication situations and be able to write short, simple messages and notes.
• Teaching material: Jasno A1/A2 textbook and workbook, Klett Verlag
• Examination/degree: 4 CP and certificate on successful completion. Each module ends with an exam (90 minutes). Admission to the examination is granted if active participation in at least 80% of the courses is fulfilled.
