• Course content: Participants will be able to understand statements on topics relevant to their personal lives, as well as simple messages. They are able to handle short, simple everyday communication situations and can write short, simple notes and messages.
• Teaching materials: Krok po kroku Polski 1 (course book and audio). The course book can be borrowed from the IUZ/Languages secretary's Office.
• Examination/Degree: 4 LP and a degree upon successful completion. The module concludes with a written examination (90 minutes). Students will be granted admission to the examination provided they have actively attended at least 80 per cent of the courses.

• Course content: The course further develops the four language skills: listening, speaking, writing and reading. By the end of the course, participants will be able to communicate in simple spoken and written form in basic everyday and academic situations.
• Teaching materials: Krok po kroku Polski 1 (course book and audio). The course book can be borrowed from the IUZ/Languages secretary's Office.
• Examination/Degree: 6 LP and a certificate upon successful completion. Passing the module examination is a prerequisite for the award of credit points. The module examination comprises:
  KA*: In the areas of reading comprehension and text production [65 mins]
  MP*: In the areas of listening comprehension and speaking [30 mins].
  Students will be granted admission to the examination provided they have actively attended at least 80 per cent of the courses.

• Course content: The four language skills of listening, speaking, writing and reading are further developed in the course. At the end of the course, the participant will be able to communicate in basic everyday and study situations in simple oral and written form.

• Examination/degree: 6 CP and certificate on successful completion. The prerequisite for the award of credit points is passing the module examination. The module examination comprises:
  KA*: In the sub-areas of reading comprehension, text production [65 min]
  MP*: In the sub-areas of listening comprehension and speaking [30 min].
  Admission to the examination is granted if active participation in at least 80% of the courses is fulfilled.
