• Costs: Participation in the course is free of charge for students and PhD candidates enrolled at TUBAF, as well as for staff. For auditors, a course fee of €30 per semester is charged.

• Course content: The course introduces basic vocabulary and teaches fundamental grammatical structures and the rules of morphology and syntax. Participants will be able to understand statements on topics relevant to their personal lives, as well as basic statements in simple messages. They will be able to handle short, simple everyday communication situations and write short, simple messages and notes.
• Teaching materials: French ‘Entre nous’ A1 coursebook and workbook + audio CD
• Exam/Degree: 4 LP and a degree upon successful completion. Each module concludes with a written exam (90 minutes). Admission to the examination is granted provided that the student has actively attended at least 80 per cent of the courses.
• Module description: Intensive French for Beginners (A1)

• Course content: The course further develops the four language skills: listening, speaking, writing and reading. Participants will be able to communicate in simple spoken and written form in basic everyday and academic situations. In addition, they will learn about the cultural characteristics of the target country.
• Teaching materials: French ‘Entre nous A2’ coursebook and workbook + audio CD
• Exam/Degree: 6 LP and a degree upon successful completion. Each module concludes with a written examination (90 minutes). Admission to the examination is granted if students have actively attended at least 80 per cent of the courses.
• Module description: Intensive French A2 (UNIcert® Basic)
