Today we can introduce a new team member at our chair! Shantha Sindhu Pudhota will join the chair as part of the research group "Human-Machine Systems". In her future work, she will focus on researching the use of musculoskeletal human simulation for the development and design of human-machine systems (e.g. exoskeletons).
Shantha recently completed her Master's degree in Biomechanical Engineering at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg with a focus on exoprosthetics. During her time at the Fraunhofer IFF, she developed a finite element model of the human leg as part of her master's thesis to evaluate impact loads in industrial human-robot interaction scenarios.
We are happy to welcome Shantha and wish her a great time at our chair!
