New team member!
Today we are proud to introduce a new team member to our chair! Kristof Kitz will join the chair as part of the "Automation" research group. In his future work, he will focus on researching the safe and robust use of humanoid robots in industrial and human-centred environments.
After completing his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Siegen, Kristof joined the Laboratory for Robotics and Human-Machine Interaction at Chemnitz University of Technology as a research assistant. His research focussed on reinforcement learning-based locomotion for humanoid robots and four-legged robot platforms as well as on the combination of learning methods with automated assembly sequence planning. In addition, he has worked on projects in the field of learning-based robot manipulation.
We are delighted to welcome Kristof and wish him a wonderful time at our chair!
