During the International Days, the International Office of TUBAF presented its wide range of ERASMUS+ exchange opportunities. The students from Politécnica de Madrid showed particular interest in the English-language courses offered by TUBAF in the fields of engineering and geosciences, particularly focused on mining. This provided the students with exciting insights into study options at TUBAF.

Furthermore, potential cooperation opportunities were identified with other participating universities, including the update of existing ERASMUS+ agreements and the planning of a new ERASMUS+ agreement with École des Mines de Saint-Etienne in the field of engineering and computer-aided materials science.

The trip not only offered fascinating glimpses into Spanish university life but also promises developments for TUBAF's current and future partnerships. The knowledge gained and the contacts made will contribute to expanding the university's international network and promoting exchanges between students and institutions.

At present, there exists an ERASMUS+ agreement for staff and student mobility between Universidad Politécnia de Madrid and the Faculty of Mechanical, Process, and Energy Engineering. Additionally, UPM is a partner in the Multiple Degree Program Advanced Mineral Resources Development (AMRD).
