Two ERASMUS+ students from TUBAF (Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg) introduced language and culture of their home country, France, to students at Geschwister-Scholl Gymnasium Freiberg.

The unique French lesson provided 7th-grade students with the opportunity to deepen their language skills through direct interaction with the two native speakers. During their visit to the secondary school, the two French students from the Université de Lille brought a wealth of information and had prepared an interactive quiz. The questions covered cultural peculiarities as well as general knowledge about France.

Reyan and Nano study at TUBAF for their ERASMUS+ exchange semester and took part in the project "International Students in Schools".

Reyan and Nano take part in the ERASMUS+ program, which promotes the exchange of students between European partner universities. In this winter semester, they are studying in our study program "Metallic Materials Technology". Additionally, they are participating in the project "International Students in Schools" organized by the International Office of the university. Their stay at TUBAF not only provides the opportunity to expand their academic knowledge but also to gain intercultural experiences.

Ingrid Lange, the Director of the International Office, emphasizes the importance of such intercultural exchange programs: "The visit of our French exchange students in French classes is a valuable experience for both sides. International exchange is a central element of our educational philosophy at TUBAF and contributes to broadening the intercultural perspectives of our students, preparing them for future challenges."
