Farewell ceremony for doctoral and post-doctoral graduates

Dear doctoral and habilitation graduates of the academic year 2024/25,

with your doctorate or habilitation, you have completed a significant stage of your academic career. Now it is time to pause for a moment, look back and celebrate this moment together.

We cordially invite you to join your family and friends at the farewell ceremony for doctoral and postdoctoral graduates of the academic year 2024/2025. The event will take place on Saturday, 8 November 2025, from 14:00 to approx. 16:00 in the Alten Mensa, Petersstraße 5, Freiberg. After the official part, we will toast together at the small buffet and enjoy the opportunity to exchange ideas.
