15th Geotechnics Colloquium

15th Geotechnics Colloquium

The Geotechnics Colloquium, jointly organised by the Institute of Geotechnics and the Saxon Mining Authority, offers a full-day forum for intensive exchange between research, authorities and engineering practice. The focus is on current issues in soil mechanics, mining geotechnics and hydrogeology, as well as environmental geotechnics - from dynamic impacts and measurement fields to large-scale hydrogeological models and innovative solutions for dealing with contaminated soils.

With contributions from universities and companies, the programme spans the spectrum from basic research to practical application. The colloquium sees itself as a meeting place for experts who want to discuss geotechnical challenges in geotechnics and specialised civil engineering as well as in the mining and environmental context together and further develop sustainable approaches.
